Working Principle of Intermediate Twist Locks
Insert the lock head into the oval hole of container corner casting. Rotate the operating shaft to turn the locking pawls roughly 90 degrees. The pawls will latch onto the inner wall of the corner casting to form a rigid, stable connection.

Overall Profile
Compact fist-sized metal component. It features tapered guide pawls on the top, a central lock body, and an integrated operating handle mounted on the lock housing.
Structural Details
The lock head is fitted with two symmetrical guide pawls; the attached handle enables easy manual rotation for locking and unlocking.
Two Working Modes
Unlocked State
The guide pawls are parallel to the lock body, allowing free insertion and removal from container corner castings.
Locked State
Rotate the guide pawls by 90° to stand perpendicular to the lock body, tightly clamping the rim of the corner casting hole for solid fixation.
Manual Operation Steps
- Pre-place the twist lock on the target corner casting
- Lower the upper container to align its corner fittings with the lock head
- Turn the handle clockwise to complete locking
- Reverse the handle rotation before unloading to unlock the twist lock
